1. Inside Mount (Inside the Window Frame)

To ensure a perfect fit inside your window frame:

• width in three places: top, middle, and bottom of the window frame.
  
• height on both sides and in the center.
  
• smallest width and smallest height — these will be used for production.
  We slightly reduce the
  width and height to fit inside the window frame.
  ✅ Tip: Inside mounts offer a clean, built-in look.
  

2. Outside Mount (On the Wall, Over the Window)

For shades mounted outside the window frame:

• width at least 3 inches beyond the window opening on both the left and right sides.
  
• height at least 3 inches above and below the window.
• minimum recommendations — feel free to give us larger dimensions if you prefer a wider or taller curtain look.
  
• ✅ Tip: Outside mounts provide better light coverage and a more luxurious appearance.
  

3. Ceiling-to-Floor installation

For dramatic, full-length curtains:

• width at least 3 inches to the left and right of the window frame. You may extend this width up to wall-to-wall if preferred.
  
• exact height from ceiling to floor — accuracy is crucial here.
